Kid Cudi - Man on the moon.

Album review

Simple As...

ABC with rhymes and rhythm and bit of boasting...

Take’s you to school or Skool whichever way seems like I’m being witty or clever...

Common constantly popping up with spoken word style narrating helps to guide you through the story being told...

Solo dolo...

This track seems like a personal attempt at an anthem stressing the need to work hard and focus on your craft to achieve great things but not to rely on others for help and support (accept it if it’s ever offered but just not to rely on it)

Selfishness towards your own dreams isn’t really selfishness...

Make her say...

Calling me first at the start of the track.

Kanye destroys his verse then Common calmly lays down some conscious knowledge...

The scratching over lady gaga’s hook is sharp yet haunting at the same time...

Then straight into Pursuit of happiness which has become an enlightening tune which seems to get loosely linked Will & Jaden Smiths same titled movie...

Cudi has self belief & Confidence in abundance...

(That’s a lyric and I’m claiming it)

In 2009 Cudi seemed relatable to a generation and was using his platform to lay down some positive anthems for the culture to take note...

The Soundtrack to my life... (?)

A self assessment of himself with a splash of ego or maybe just an insight into the Ego itself that is Scott Mescudi...

“A blast from the not so past,

that’s had a lot of influence on the young music generation and is here to last” 🎤
